This tense Chinese drama explores a family`s desperate attempt to protect its young son. When 15-year-old Zhang Shuai is put on trial for robbery, his parents will do anything to reduce his sentence. His mother even goes so far as to sell her own kidney, using the money to bribe the judge. This plan goes disastrously wrong, with Zhang`s mother dying and her son going to jail anyway.
