This adaptation of David Storey's IN CELEBRATION was part of the American Film Theater series, conceived in the 1970s by producer Ely Landau, and meant to be shown theatrically just like a play, with tickets sold in advance. Featuring the same cast that made the play a hit on the London stage, IN CELEBRATION stars Alan Bates as one of three unhappy sons who travel back to their parents' Yorkshire home for their wedding anniversary. Once there, tension immediately begins to mount between the three brothers until one of them begins angrily lashing out at the rest of the family, tearing apart their illusion of happiness.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 1.85Additional Release Material: Interview - 1.
